Colorado’s Favorite Electrician and Electrical Contractor Wins Coveted Local Nomination

New Electric Colorado was nominated for 2013 Business of the Year by the Vail Valley Partnership.

2014 has been a good year so far!  New Electric Colorado was nominated for the 2013 Business of the Year award by the Vail Valley Partnership in January, 2014. Our business model is to support continued growth, to foster relationships with local contractors and businesses, and to provide a positive work environment for local residents. We strive to support our employees and their families by providing a competitive pay scale, a comprehensive benefits package, and a work environment committed to excellence.

Additional nominees included Group970, owners of Blue Moose Pizza, the Chophouse in Vail and the Chophouse in Beaver Creek and Colorado Mountain Express, which provides airport transportation to Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Vail, Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, Aspen, Snowmass and surrounding resort areas.

We congratulate Group 970 on winning this prestigious award. Group970 was particularly honored that the award came from such an esteemed, valley wide, community driven organization and selection committee.  “Being selected to receive this award by other community members as well as knowing how many other qualified and outstanding nominees there were this year gave the award a special significance,” stated Sarah Franke, Group970 Communications Manager. “There is nothing more fulfilling to our group than accepting an honor from our local associates.”

New Electric has long been touted for its devoted mission to provide superior customer service and innovative technology for home services, residential and commercial applications. Their team of licensed electricians with an average 20 years of experience and training was the obvious local choice for this community achievement award.

“New Electric was recently spotlighted as a finalist for ‘Business of the Year’ in the Vail Valley in 2013; this is impressive as businesses are nominated by their peers and finalists are selected by a peer group consisting of prior award winners. New Electric stands out from most service providers due to their strong sense of community engagement and community involvement – it is clear that they understand that building relationships within the community are important in order to grow as a business (and ultimately benefit their employees). Their client portfolio and future pipeline of business speak volumes as to the reputation of the company, built through working with a variety of great local non-profit groups and with important projects within the community such as the Eagle interchange, Gypsum biomass plant and Eagle County Charter Academy.” – Chris Romer, Vail Valley Partnership
